Description

A walking disaster,
the son of all bastards.
You regret you made me,
it's too late to save me.

Sum 41 - Walking Disaster

When I first finished this illustration I... totally lohated it. So much that I kept opening and closing SAI to fix and edit something for HOURS. Now I kind of made up and let's say I tolerate it, but still, I'm not satisfied at all. I wanted to do much better, I wanted my art to be much better. I still have a long way to go.
I better brace myself and start praticing even harder than before.

You probably have no clue, since I haven't posted anything, but I'm pretty enamored with Ek. I haven't been so excited for an OC in ages, it's nice to have that feeling again!

Hello Im here from Project Comment!
I really gotta say this looks absolutely AMAZING, the characters pose, the colouring, the shading, all of it just looks stunning! This picture especially catches attention with its contrast with the lighting, it looks wonderful and really adds a nice sharp look to the image that makes it truly look like the character fits in the setting! I also love the way you shade, especially on the hair and bandages, I find that the character looks like they are being lit from the top though, while the sharp change of lighting that puts the source on the left kind of makes the characters shading look a bit odd, although it definitely doesnt take away anything from the character.
I also find that the background, while looking really nice in perspective and really natural, it is a bit lacking. Its hard to add details to a city setting like this but I think maybe adding small details like plants, rocks, cracks and pipes and such would really help add to the image, but careful not to overdue it so that it takes over the picture!
Overall this is absolutely fantastic, its so beautiful and your style is amazing! The way you draw and shade looks so wonderful and it really makes this picture something special, amazing job! I cant wait to see more artwork from you in the group! :D
